KEE NEWS
We hope you enjoyed the Easter Holiday, it was an unusually busy holiday period this year in Kenton. I haven’t seen so many holiday makers in Kenton during Easter for a number of years. It was also nice to see some of our homeowners taking the opportunity to visit Kenton Eco Estate this year.
New Home building
The New home being built in Bushdassie Boulevard (Village 1) is making good progress and the builder (Kenbush Construction) from Kenton on Sea is about to throw the concrete slab for the first floor. Work should be complete on this new home in time for Christmas. Another plot in village 1 was recently sold and the new owner of the property has expressed a keen interest in building a new home.
Street Light Maintenance
Work is nearing completion to repair the cable faults that were identified during the recent maintenance carried out on our 350 streetlights. With most of the villages now being completed, it is great to see the Kenton Eco Estate once again lit up at night.
Boardwalk Anti Slip project completed
The Kenton Eco Estate boardwalks are a magnificent asset to our estate and allow visitors to walk through beautiful dune thicket and onto our pristine beaches. Over time the boardwalks have become quite slippery when they are wet from either due or rain, especially in shaded areas where there is not much sun. In order to help prevent any unfortunate slip injuries to visitors or residents it was decided to install an anti slip walking strip to each boardwalk. The staff at Kenton Eco estate undertook this large project themselves (approx 2 km) and have now completed the job after several weeks of hard work.
